Our Tooling Method allows us to form a screen to precise measurements, while at the same time "give" to keep from causing wire-to-wire compression damage.

Recently, we developed a new media to manufacture our Forming Screens from. This new "Basic Screen" has taken us back to the basics of wire mesh. The design of the Basic Screen helps to eliminate problems that have long plagued the core forming process. It is fully "sintered", or soldered, together everywhere the top screen touches the underlying support screen. This helps to reduce, or even eliminate, fluff being trapped between the two screens. This also makes for an extremely strong forming screen that can hold up to today's higher vacuum levels.

The Top Screen can also be "custom" ordered. If you want a certain open area (%), and a certain opening size, just let us know. We'll do some research to see if your idea can be implemented. Once a design is agreed upon, it is just a matter of time to manufacture the screen and tooling to provide you with the best forming screens available.
